Don't buy a Dell Computer. I recently bought two Dell computers, an Inspiron 1720 and an XPS 1730. They were purchased through a Dell outlet that Dell subsequently closed. Neither computer would shut down after startup. The computers had not been checked for functionality before shipment. The problem was a conflict bteween Trend Micro and Vista software. Dell Technical Support was not able to solve the problem after several days of frustrration in trying to get help. My last contact was the "advanced" Technical Support in Manila. Dell has a closed circuit firewall that perpetually sends you back to Technical Support that is incompetent.
